Below you'll find information on the whole cake ordering process, from consultations and cake tastings to delivery and set-up. It can seem daunting, but we're here to help so feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Cake Tasting
To-go cake tasting boxes are available for wedding and event orders. Pickup is at our home in Northwest Austin and the address will be provided via email. Before you order you’ll just want to make sure your caterer and venue allow you to bring in cakes from outside vendors.
Each tasting box is $40. This includes 12 mini cupcakes, 3 each of your 4 chosen cake flavors (which you can find under the “Cake & Cookies” tab). There is a $5 fee for each additional flavor beyond the 4 included in the base price.
Email is where we'll dive into details regarding your design vision for your cake. You’ll send over all your color preferences, design elements, serving numbers, and cake inspiration photos (Pinterest and Google Images are great sources for this!) so that we can get a perfect match for your event’s aesthetic.
Once we've nailed down the details we’ll email you with an accurate quote as soon as possible, at which point you will be able to secure your order with a 30% non-refundable deposit (credited to the total cost of the order) with the remainder of the balance to be paid 2 weeks before the date of delivery. Refunds for the remainder of the balance are unavailable if cancellation occurs within 2 week of the order's due date.
Cost and Construction
Our wedding cakes start at $7 per serving for buttercream cakes and go up depending on design. Custom designs and filling flavors will be priced according to complexity and cost will be calculated and added into the quote emailed to you after your tasting.
For large events with 150+ guests, cutting cakes can be a great way to supplement your tiered cake. If this is something you're interested in, you can order single-tier rounds in 8”, 9”, or 10” to get you to the number of servings you need. As a general rule, wedding cake slices are the height of the cake (about 5" tall) by 2" deep by 1" wide. Please refer to the photos below for information on servings per tier.
Delivery and Set-Up
So that your cake looks its absolute best on your big day, we require tiered wedding cakes be delivered and set-up on site. Delivery and set-up fees are mileage-based and will be included in your quote. Our delivery radius is 40 miles from our home in NW Austin. We will coordinate with you and your wedding planner to determine the best time for arrival and assembly.
